South Birmingham: good to know
The big southern sweep — Edgbaston and Harborne, the universities and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital around Selly Oak, Bournville's Cadbury village, the Balti Triangle, and out to Longbridge, Rubery and Shirley. Mostly residential streets and driveways, which suits mobile work well.
Questions about this part of town
Do you cover the hospitals and universities?
Yes — Selly Oak (Queen Elizabeth Hospital), the University of Birmingham and Birmingham City University areas are all covered. If you're in a hospital or campus car park, send us the location pin.
I'm on a terraced street with no driveway — is that a problem?
No. Much of South Birmingham is terraced streets, like Sparkbrook and Balsall Heath. We work from the roadside as long as it's safe and legal to stop.
Can you come to my workplace?
Yes — offices, shops and industrial units across the south are fine. Just make sure we can access the car and that whoever holds the keys is there.
